#12 in the Vasta Editions Eros Series. This volume is dedicated to depictions of these acts of surrender from the 1930s to the ‘50s. The anonymous artists that produced this work were essential in creating the aesthetic vocabulary of contemporary BDSM illustration through publications like The Spankers, Thrilling Domination, Outré, and others. These drawings show off a level of imagination and inventiveness that still impresses to this day.
